You have defined the design parameters for the reinforced concrete section of a beam? In accordance with the standard you have chosen, the results will contain all the information regarding the reinforcement to be prepared in the sections of the elements you want to design.
By clicking on the icon to the right of the result, a popup will appear with a description of its content, as you can read in the figure below.
Note that if the design element has a rectangular cross-section and is subject to uniaxial bending, the reinforcement is optimally arranged in the tensioned or compressed area, depending on requirements and the concrete failure field.
If, on the other hand, the element has any section or is subject to biaxial bending, the reinforcement is placed homogeneously at the vertices the section, internally, according to the distance between the outer border of the section and the center of gravity of the reinforcement.
