We are really excited to present the brand new possibility to share your engineering projects directly on social media (Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, etc), with a link or email.
This is our way to contribute to build better know-how, by favoring collaboration and supporting the engineering community.
This feature is available in the last WeStatiX version, together with many other very powerful new features.
Share a WeStatiX project
How does it work?
- Create a public project in WeStatiX.
- Click on Share in the main WeStatiX menu (see video above).
- Choose your preferred way to share (Facebook, LinkedIn, Google+, Email, Share Link)
If you share on a social network, a new post will be added to your page. Otherwise, a link will be sent if you use the email. You can also click on “Share Link” to copy the link to your clipboard and send it as you prefer, for example using a chat. By clicking on it, your friends will be able to access your project and give you feedback.
Of course, they won’t be able to make any changes to it. However, they can copy your model and use it for their own calculations.
This is possible only with projects that you decide to be public. We care very much about your privacy. Therefore, those project you want to be private will never be accessible by anyone.
